Formaldehyde fumes can irritate the eyes, nose and mouth, and it is known to be a human carcinogen.Methylene Dianiline: Used as a reactant in the foam manufacturing process, methylene dianiline causes irritation when coming into contact with skin, and may be carcinogenic.Methylene Chloride: Formerly used as a blowing agent, this substance is a suspected carcinogen and can pose serious health risks if it comes into contact to the skin or mucous membranes.Chlorofluorocarbons: Chlorofluorocarbons were formerly used as a blowing agent, but use of these substances is now limited because of their ozone-depleting effects.Toluene is what they used to put in wite-out and it's totally toxic. Before bed I fluff them out so they are plump when I place my head on them. I use satin pillow cases so my hair & skin stay smooth. I highly recommend them over a rubber pillow! I feel like I’m in a hotel using their pillows!A little too soft .......I was looking for pillows that were cloud like but firm like I get when I stay at my favorite hotel chain. One set fluffed up nice but the other set seems to be missing half the filling. I needed to use them as I was having out of town guests coming and I didn't have time to go out and buy new pillows. Very disappointed with this purchase.I purchased king size which states 44 oz of fill. These are inexpensive pillows - they are meant to be soft and squishy. You cannot pay such a tiny price and expect to receive and overstuffed $150 down pillow.I did not realize the description says "duck" not goose. I cut each pillow open to combine them into one mega pillow and had to use my inahler quickly.These had a bit of a smell out of the box but I washed and dried them and it is barely noticeable.I have purchased goose down pillows from down luxe and when I opened them they appeared to be great quality. I will stick with those!Unhappy with the pillows softness and comfort. I found them to be neither. Kind of am disappointed with the purchase.
