I was concerned about some of the older negative reviews. But not my experience - fortunately.A little tricky to fold and open. But sturdy once open. The plus - they closely match by dining table and previous dining chairs In both color and style. Since my dining table is only pulled out from the wall a couple of times a year for holiday meals, being able to fold everything up, and put it away is wonderful. The chairs actually talk under my drop leaf table.If you look at the last photo, it's the picture of the underside of the chair. The chairs upholstery can be changed out quite easily by unscrewing the seat, recovering with fabric of your choice.
