The chairs look great but are easy to stain even after scotchgarding them . So I had to add plastic chair covers for my kids. Also these chairs come in 2s. They were ordered at the same time. Yet one set came with the wrong hardware. The bolts that connects the chair bottom to the back were too short. My husband spent 2 days & $40 trying to find something that would fit at the hardware store. He is a carpenter so he just built something to make them work and be sturdy.I Received the chairs, but there is no assembly instructions.I ordered 4 of these chairs and they were $169. I wanted 2 or more but I refuse to pay $249. But anywho! They were very easy to assemble, HOWEVER I had some that were wobbly. I followed the instruction to drop the chair on a flat surface and still wobbly. Tried to redo the assembly. So I just ordered the furniture felt to place on the side that was the “shortest”. Overall I am satisfied with the chairs!Seems like we go through counter chairs/stools every few years. I've bought really good ones (which lasted about eight years) and cheap ones (which made it about a year). Though you could buy much more expensive ones than these, I am really happy with the style, comfort, height, and sturdiness of these chairs. My teenage daughter put them together and though she stated that she found some screws didn't fit into the prescribed holes and had a few screws left over, they feel quite sturdy. Though the fabric color is nice in my kitchen, I'm not sure I should have gone with such a light color - but overall, very happy with these chairs.Easy to assemble--only took about half an hour to do both of them, but I used a ratcheting screwdriver with the appropriate hex bit on it, as opposed to the Allen wrench it came with. If I'd have used the Allen wrench, it would have taken longer and been more difficult to really tighten the bolts. They're very sturdy and level. They're a neutral, mid-tone brown, nice and comfortable. Good deal for the price; very happy with them.I was pissed off that the stools arrived with no instructions of how to put them together. I figured it out but could have had them assembled faster had instructions came in the box. $151 with no instructions is ridiculous! There were also scratches and chips on the legs when they came. The only thing that I like is that they're sturdy and they actually look nice in my dining area. I would have sent them back but I didn't want to go through the hassle of sending them back but I won't be buying anything else furniture wise through Amazon.Upon assembling the legs, some of the holes did not align. Was not hard to fix, but one of the legs did come apart. Messaged the company and another leg is being sent. The barstools are very sturdy and comfortable. Would definitely buy again.This chair is easy to assemble and comfortable and sturdy!
